Try it, You’ll Strike it

On Monday, December 9th, Marlingtons girls and boys bowling teams went up against the Garaway Pirates. The girls fought hard and won by 8 pins with 1721 to Garaways 1713. The high Game for the Dukes was Alex Lemaster with a 195 and high series of 322. Catie Yoder had a 169 game and 292 series for Garaway.


Marlington boys fought hard but could not knock out the Garaway boys. Dukes lost by 635 pins with a 1918 and Garaway having 2553. The high game for the Dukes was Josh Wise with a 183 and High series with a 329. Clayton Burky led the Pirates with a high game of 243 and high series with 408.


The Dukes then traveled to Carrol Lanes on Tuesday, December 10th to take on the Carrollton Warriors. Marlington girls showed great effort but came up on the short end of the stick losing by 402 pins with 1844 to Carrollton’s 2246. The high game for the girls was Alex Lemaster with a 193 and high series of 376. Cailyn Bright had a 190 as high game and Chelsea Hawk had high series for Carrollton.


Marlington boy’s again fought hard but lost by 585 pins with a 1913 to Carrollton’s 2498. The high game for the Dukes was TJ Wilson with a 243 and High series with a 418. Fred Tessanne led the Warriors with a high game of 230 and high series with 413.


The Dukes will travel to Boulevard Lanes on Thursday, December 19th to take on the New Philadelphia Quakers.
