Spanish NHS Inducts Six New Members

On Tuesday night, Marlington’s Spanish National Honors Society inducted their new students.

New member includes sophomores Andrea Dager, Ariana Painter, Hailey Confalone, Pilar Montelongo, Walter Bungard, and junior Evelyn Bullock.

To apply students must be in Spanish 3 or higher, along with an average of a B or better in the class, a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher, and a will to continue to learn Spanish and its culture

Returning members are Nick Kish, Lilyan Ronske, Angel Borbajo, Andy Grimes, José Tovar, Tristan Confalone, Emma Dine, Kaylyn Monette, Olivia Ryan, Bella Warner, Christina Dager, Ella Dipold, Mary Mason, Morgan Campbell, and Emma Goettel.

The Spanish National Honors Society tutors students that need help. They also have a dinner on the 24th of April and other activities throughout the year.


The Grand Duke is run by the Honors Newspaper and Journalism class at Marlington High School, and administered by Kaytlin McCoy.
