NHS Bash is a Success

The National Honors Society at Marlington high school hosted a barbeque dinner on October 4th before the homecoming football game.

The club sold over 200 tickets, raising over a thousand dollars for the club. As 5:30 rolled around that Friday, people started piling in to get dinner from NHS before the game.

The students selected to be in the club helped collect and sell tickets, served the food and drinks, and cleaned the tables after a family was done eating.

This is an annual dinner for NHS, used to raise funds for the club. Last year the club sold around 150 tickets to people around the Marlington community.

The dinner brings the community together and gives many the opportunity to talk to others they might not have seen for a while.
