Girls Soccer Defeats Couventry in Lopsided Win

Last night, the varsity girls soccer team defeated Couventry with a score of 4-0. Cali Swisher once again lead the team with 2 goals in the first half. With three starters out on injury, the girls had to work hard to keep the ball in the game with Couventry.

The girls moved the ball fast and constantly throughout the second half of the game. Making the score 2-0, Marlington. Olivia Ryan and Evelyn Bullock had a few good runs towards the goal but were ultimately unsuccessful. Off an assist from Cali Swisher, Evelyn Bullock finally made a goal.

By the end of the night, Evelyn Bullock had 2 assists and 1 goal along with Olivia Ryan with 1 assist in the second half. Cali Swisher lead the team in goals with 3 in total. Sarah Taranto held Couventry at zero with 5 saves.
